The Bunk House – Sleeps Up To 8
Our newly renovated Bunk House retreat vacation rental is located in Williston, Florida. The Bunk House can accommodate up to 8 SINGLES or 3 COUPLES & 2 SINGLES. Our cozy Christian & Cabin Themed home has 3 bedrooms.
The Bedrooms
The MASTER bedroom has a Queen bed and an extra sturdy custom made twin loft bed made with authentic 4” pine logs with a comfortable memory-foam mattress. A place for hanging clothes is conveniently located off the master.
The MIDDLE bedroom has a queen memory-foam bed plus a log style loft bed and one additional twin. A custom crafted pine closet is perfectly sized for the second bedroom.
The THIRD bedroom has a queen bed and a twin. AN oversized walk-in closet with plenty of shelving is attached to the third bedroom.
The Bunk House cabin guest house can COMFORTABLY ACCOMMODATE 8 singles. Each of the 3 bedrooms provides 1 queen bed. All beds are equipped with comfortable memory-foam mattresses. See our 3 other rentals for couples or families traveling together.
The Floor Plan
Our Cabin-Style Florida Vacation Rental has an open floor plan with living room and cafe adjoined to encourage conversation and intimacy with your family and friends. The bunkhouse is laid out like a motel with each room having access to a door leading to the outside from an inside hallway for the option to walk under cover to the cafe area. Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make meals and has enough seating to accommodate your group. The home is FULLY FURNISHED and the kitchen is stocked for cooking. See our amenities page for a detailed list of what is stocked in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. All you need to bring are your personal items, food, and clothing. We also provide freshly washed bed linens, towels and a plethora of body wash, shampoos, conditioners and more.
The Outdoors
We have a fantastic covered porch off the bedroom and cafe doors which offers 3 sets of 2 seater swings encouraging lots of peaceful reflection while listening to the birds chirping, and enjoying the view of our majestic oak trees and surrounding open pastures. You may even get a glimpse of our retired horses that graze the pastures. The 30’x30’x16’h pavilion is just a few steps away from the 2-seater swings and Bunk House cafe. To find it, just follow the tiled walkway to the pavilion which is nestled among the 100-year old shady oak trees. The pavilion is equipped with an extra long counter, an outdoor sink, pots and pans, a 25 cup event coffee maker, BBQ grill and grilling tools for your use. The pavilion has plenty of tables and chairs for your group to enjoy your meals together. The pavilion is the perfect area to enjoy meals, play ping pong, corn hole, table top jenga, table top connect four,and hang out with your morning coffee on the hanging swings or visit in the sitting area with comfy chairs conversing with your guests. The landscaped acreage is great for outdoor games, horseshoes, and team building activities. If you are resourceful we have a volleyball net and bocce ball set you are welcome to setup and enjoy. We have to keep them boxed or the weather deteriorates the games.
The Pavilion
If you are interested in exclusive use of the pavilion for your group please reserve ahead of time for your dates. There is a small fee for preparation and clean up for exclusive use of the pavilion. Otherwise is it a shared space.
The Location
This property is located in a quiet community with 8 neighbors among 200 acres. Many come to the Williston Area which is known for Devils Den, Blue Grotto, HITS and now World Equestrian Center. The property boasts of a pristine, private, and gated 10 acre property. We are minutes from Rainbow Springs, World Equestrian Center and many other local attractions.
Things To Do in the Area
We are 20 minutes from the World Equestrian Center (WEC). This world class venue offers plenty of places to eat, offers free parking and many other free events daily. Check out their website for restaurants, bakeries and pubs. They often have expo center activities on any given month.
Enjoy lots of outdoor activities within 10-15 minutes away from our property including kayaking at Rainbow Springs, snorkeling at Devils Den, scuba diving at Blue Grotto. Rainbow springs is also a great spot for 4 hour tubing excursions or leisurely canoeing up the river. There are plenty of hiking trails and biking trails close by and we are close to competitive horse events and other competitions at HITS, Blue Grotto, Devils Den and Kirby Farms are less than 10 minutes away, Cactus Jacks is a great half-day trip for horseback riding. Captain Mikes in Crystal River is a wonderful day trip located about 40 minutes away for swimming with the manatees. Ginnie Springs is 45 minutes away and a great stop for swimming, Blue Springs is a local favorite swimming hole. You can find multiple fresh water springs within 25 minutes in any direction from our location. This property is great family and friends to vacation together! Our property has multiple rentals so a large group can travel together and still have the privacy of their own space yet hang together in a family atmosphere.
